Lufgekuhlt, german for air-cooled, is the name of the ultimate collection of classic Porsches of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Put together by producer Jeff Zwart, racing driver Patrick Long, and Howie Idleson, Luft has become a "must see" event for fanatics of the Porsche brand world wide. By putting together some of history's most iconic racing vehicles and limited run air-cooled Porsches, it is no surprise that this event has the popularity it does.
With legendary greats like Jacky Ickx's 936, to name a few, this show proves to have everything meaningful to the brand's history.
In addition to the fact that there are Porsches that have never been seen by the general public at this show, Luftgekuhlt's venue is absolutely breathtaking. Hosted in Universal Studio's backlots, the event gives all these icons backdrops barely worthy of hosting said vehicles...see for yourself below.
