It's been a while since we've all read a blog, hasn't it?
Let's see...where, should we begin?
Today, a small gathering of curated vehicles met to celebrate the Art Basel 2024 festivities in Miami.
Organized by true enthusiasts with a clear vision, Matt and Carlos from Selective Search founded the group to curate and select Miami's greatest representation of Miami's automotive car culture.
Selective Search is not just meetups. Selective Search is composed of vehicles assembled with rare parts, quality pieces, and approved taste.
Cars built with "new old stock" and "no longer available" parts are the norm in this group, defining the community's ideology; Quality over Quantity celebrating iconic Japanese Midnight Runners of the 90s and 2000s.
What would have been an art gallery displaying some of our most recent archival film work in Bellows Film Lab Miami turned into a last-minute fiasco of trying to find the right venue to celebrate our love for the automobile and fine tuning, working out miraculously.
Even though parking enforcement and the city of Miami made it impossible to showcase the prints we have open for pre-order at Bellows, Matt from Selective Search showed me a phenomenal lot with tons of parking resulting in an amazing setting.
Even though the art aspect couldn't happen, the show must go on and on it went.
Here are some of our favorites from today, til next time.
